There always seems to be massive traffic jams in Clapham. The High Street is always slow moving - on saturday night I was stuck for 30 minutes trying to get up the high street...it would have been quicker to get out and walk (although not ideal to abandon the car!) Bedford Road in Clapham has just been named 15 of the 25 most conjested roads in the whole of London! (Tom Tom research findings.)

Additionally there are roadworks/Thames waterworks on Clapham Park Road causing absolutely chaos - busses and cars being diverted literally miles out of the way, which is also adding to the traffic jams around the area. The Thames Water works are also affecting all the businesses on Clapham Park Road as well, you can't see the shops - or hardly get to them!

Please Lambeth Council - work together with Thames Water in speeding up these waterpipe replacements - and please also look at the traffic streaming in Clapham to make it better for public transport users and car drivers.
